Jerseys will not be available for the first week of games so work that out accordingly as to wearing lights and darks. My advice is to just have the lower number, ex: 4 v 5 it would be 4, wear light and the other team wear dark. The jerseys have been ordered. Pay close attention to the excel sheet, the first sheet will display what numbers play each other and what time, and the second sheet will display what number your team is on the schedule and what color jersey you have been assigned Comp schedule is being worked on and those games will start on monday 03-24-2008 12:54 Jerseys and Score Keeping - Eric Kleinberg Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know that jerseys are now being ordered. I have had too many people not give me what numbers they want so we are just going to order numbers 1-10, or 1-11, depends on how many players there are on your team. By the time I would find out what numbers everyone wanted we would be 5 or 6 games into the season. Doing this also helps gets the jerseys to come in much faster as well. Also besides refs we are looking for some people to score keep games. This is an easy way to make a little cash, all that it involves doing is working the clock and writing down the numbers of who scored so we can keep accurate stats. The league will need to start a few days later than expected. We are looking for a few more refs for both leagues this semester. You will get 10 dollars a game and you will be paid at the end of the semester. Some sort of experience is needed. I am just waiting for an email from the HUB to confirm the meeting. Once I have that email I will post what room the meeting will be in. A few important notes: First off at this meeting payment will be due along with completed forms and completed rosters. If you are playing on a team then you only need to have the team form filled out. If you are joining as individual then you need to fill out the individual form. We said we would be updating the site a lot, and recently we had some technical problems with posting updates. This is fixed now and from now on the site will be updated a lot. The meeting will last until we are finished covering the material and any questions you might have. We hope to see you there. 02-06-2008 12:04 Spring 2008 IM Leagues - Andrew Perkins First things first- this semester’s IM leagues will be run more efficiently and with more dedication. Last semester was a bust, and to those of you who are planning on playing this semester, you will get what you are paying for.
Secondly, there is a meeting on February 20th 2008. Time and location are TBA. As soon as we find out, we will be posting it on this website. We will be covering Fees, jerseys, forms, and any questions you might have.
Third, as far as the location of the IM leagues go, we are not entirely sure what the format will be. So far, the most popular idea is that we have one league at the YMCA (MUCH nicer rink than the Bigler rinks) and one league at the Bigler rinks for those of you without rides to the YMCA. If this is the case, then the YMCA league will most likely be the competitive league, where a puck will be used, and the goalies can’t be pansies about it.
What we want most is YOUR input. These leagues are run for your benefit as well as the club team’s benefit. We want to accommodate you as much as possible. So please, feel free to send any questions or comments to either myself (Andrew Perkins, awp117@psu.edu) or Eric Kleinberg (ewk5010@psu.edu). 05-29-2007 11:57 YMCA Sign ups - Bryan Ollendyke Anyone up here this summer, sign ups for the YMCA league close within a week's time. Ideally we'd like to have everyone in by this Friday. It's 55 bucks, gaurenteed at elast 12 games + jersey. Stats will be kept, there's a big scoreboard along with a great playing surface and brand net nets. The league will be puck and try to wear softer wheels (it's that smooth) 05-21-2007 10:04 YMCA Rink is Finished! - Bryan Ollendyke The rink over at the YMCA is about 99% functional. They still need to do some touch up work but other then that it's all ready to go (there was even a net over there when I stopped by that someone left out). If you're interested in checking it out it's over on Waupelani drive. The league and programs start up in a few weeks but please sign up / check them out!
